Shaboozey On How He Celebrated His First Grammy Win & Collaboration With Jelly Roll | GRAMMYs 2026

Shaboozey caught up with Billboard’s Tetris Kelly and Leila Cobo on the 2026 GRAMMYs red carpet, and it was a night to remember. The music industry’s biggest names gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to celebrate the 68th annual GRAMMY Awards, and Shaboozey was there to capture all the excitement.

Tetris Kelly, the Senior Director of Charts at Billboard, and Leila Cobo, the Vice President and Latin Industry Lead at Billboard, have been instrumental in shaping the music industry and recognizing top talent. Their presence on the red carpet was a testament to their dedication and expertise in the industry.

As the stars made their way down the red carpet, Shaboozey caught up with Tetris Kelly and Leila Cobo to get their thoughts on the night’s festivities. Both Kelly and Cobo were beaming with excitement and anticipation for the evening ahead.

“It’s always an honor to be a part of the GRAMMYs, and this year is no exception,” Kelly shared. “There is so much incredible talent being recognized tonight, and I can’t wait to see who takes home the awards.”

Cobo echoed Kelly’s sentiments, adding, “The GRAMMYs are a celebration of music and the artists who pour their hearts and souls into their craft. It’s a privilege to be here and witness the magic of this industry.”

As the conversation continued, Shaboozey asked Kelly and Cobo about their thoughts on the current state of the music industry. Both agreed that it is an exciting time to be a part of the industry, with new artists breaking through and pushing boundaries.

“The music industry is constantly evolving, and it’s amazing to see how artists are using their platforms to make a difference and connect with their fans,” Cobo said.

Kelly added, “Streaming has also changed the game, allowing for more diverse and global audiences to discover and enjoy music. It’s an exciting time for the industry, and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here.”

Shaboozey also asked Kelly and Cobo about their predictions for the night’s big winners. While they both admitted it was difficult to choose, they shared their excitement for some of the top nominees.

“I’m rooting for Taylor Swift and her album ‘Lover’,” Kelly said. “She has had an incredible year, and I think she deserves all the recognition she’s been getting.”

Cobo added, “I’m excited to see how the Latin artists will fare tonight. We have some incredible talent in the Latin music industry, and I’m hoping to see them take home some well-deserved awards.”

As the red carpet interviews came to an end, Shaboozey thanked Kelly and Cobo for their time and wished them a fantastic evening. The two Billboard executives then made their way into the Staples Center, ready to enjoy the show alongside the rest of the music industry’s elite.

The 2026 GRAMMYs proved to be a night filled with memorable performances, emotional speeches, and well-deserved wins. And as the night came to a close, it was clear that the music industry is in good hands with leaders like Tetris Kelly and Leila Cobo at the helm.

Their passion for music, dedication to recognizing talent, and positive outlook on the industry’s future is truly inspiring. Shaboozey was honored to have caught up with them on the red carpet and looks forward to seeing what they will accomplish in the years to come.
